Agreement for rental and test driving of vehicles
The agreement is between Leks Motor AS, org. no. 832 540 552 (“LEKS” or “lessor”), Olav Ingstads vei 1, 1351 Rud, and the customer placing the order (“lessee”).

1. Booking, rental amount and use
LEKS rents out the vehicle, which is collected from LEKS’ premises at Rud in Bærum on the date the customer books in the online store. The rental amount is stated at the time of booking and is paid when booking in the system. The agreed mileage for ATVs and motorcycles is 300 km. Excess kilometers cost NOK 4 per km. The fuel tank must be filled up before return, unless a different fuel level has been agreed upon with LEKS and registered at rent.leksmotor.no.
Payment does not apply to test drives for sales purposes. For such test drives, the other points apply, and the trial period is 30–60 minutes unless otherwise agreed.
2. Registration and inspection of the vehicle
All lessees must register at rent.leksmotor.no. Registration, documentation of fuel level, and photography are mandatory for all rentals and must be completed for the rental to be approved.
Upon collection, the lessee records the fuel level of the vehicle or machine and the approximate fuel level it has been agreed to be returned with. Unless otherwise agreed with LEKS, the requirement for a full tank upon return applies.
The lessee must take photos of the vehicle or machine as part of the registration. The photos document the condition and provide security for both the lessee and LEKS.
The photos are deleted after 30 days, unless errors, damages, or other discrepancies are recorded upon return.
The vehicle is inspected before and after the rental period to ensure it is returned in the same condition. The rental amount does not cover the insurance excess.
3. Agreed use
The vehicle must not be used in any way other than that authorized by the lessor. The lessee shall use the vehicle in accordance with standard norms for vehicle use. It must be treated with care and must not be lent or rented out to others.
4. Driving eligibility, fees and charges
The lessee is responsible for ensuring that the use of the vehicle is legal, including having a valid driver's license, and that parking, toll charges, ferry fees, and other charges are paid. The lessee shall use available payment systems so that the lessor does not have to administer and re-invoice small amounts. In the event of such re-invoicing, an administrative fee of NOK 150 per invoice applies.
5. Insurance and excess
The lessor does not cover liability for damage beyond what is covered by the insurance, and does not cover the excess in the event of a collision or glass damage. The lessee covers costs for the vehicle up to NOK 16,000, which is the lessor's excess according to the insurance policy.
6. Other drivers
The lessee is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is not used by others during the rental period.
7. Rental period
The agreement runs from the start time of the booking to the end time of the booking. For test drives, the trial period is a maximum of 30–60 minutes unless otherwise agreed.
8. Return
The lessee agrees that the vehicle shall be returned when the rental period has expired, or if the rent is due and unpaid. The lessee agrees that return in these cases may also be demanded by the lessor through the enforcement authorities without the need for a lawsuit or judgment.
9. Acceptance upon booking
The lessee confirms having read and accepted the rental terms by checking the box in the booking process before completing the order. This acceptance replaces the BankID signing that was mentioned in the previous agreement.
