Can-Am Outlander 2027: choose 4x4, 6x6 and the right equipment

The Outlander name covers several Can-Am variants in the 2027 lineup. When choosing an ATV for work, transport, or leisure, you should start with the task and the size of the vehicle. Then, consider the engine variant, seats, and accessories on the specific models.

When is 6x6 the right choice?

A 6x6 provides a different setup for cargo and off-road capability than a 4x4. In the shop, you will find, among others, the Outlander 6x6 DPS 700 T, 6x6 DPS 1000 T, and MAX 6x6 Backcountry 1000R T. Compare cargo needs, dimensions, seating capacity, and standard specifications for each model. A 4x4 may be more appropriate when you prioritize a different size or usage.

Check the chassis before ordering equipment

The 2027 products in the Outlander family do not necessarily use the same mounts. G3 and G3L must be kept separate where equipment is chassis-dependent. Even when 2026 and 2027 share a platform, you must verify the part number and the manufacturer's specific fitment for the 2027 variant. Cargo beds, boxes, winches, tracks, and protection, in particular, require model-specific verification.
